Description
"Typographic sample book from Azerbaijan ... [which was] invaded by the Soviet Union in 1920 and incorporated as the Azerbaijan Socialist Republic. The book reflects both the Soviet dominance and the disparate linguistic needs of the region, the bulk being in Russian, with several pages of Arabic, Latin Azeri, and just three lines of Armenian script on one of the later pages.
